Thanks for all the :+fav:s and support!

America is a Christian nation, regardless of what Barack Obama thinks. He had absolutely no right to share his personal opinion as though it were law. Freedom of speech, yes. Freedom to dictate to us what we are all by his little self? No. The president is supposed to stand for the people, no vice versa. He is to uphold the beliefs of our country (remember, "In God We Trust"). Just because he's unsure about his religious standing doesn't mean everyone else is.

I respect religious freedom, so please don't be offended. There's a lot of heat going around about whether America was founded as a Christian nation or not. Whether all the Founding Fathers felt the same, I don't know. But I do know this. In 1892 the Supreme Court stated: "No purpose of action against religion can be imputed to any legislation, state or national, because this is a religious people...This is a Christian nation."

This may offend some people. That's why I've disabled comments. If you like this stamp and agree with it, go ahead and :+fav: it. Otherwise, you're surely welcome to disagree and leave it alone. This is merely my response to another stamp on dA. I won't be flamed, that's that.

If you are NOT Christian, please don't take this to mean I think you're a terrible, discombobulated individual. I love you, I really do. I'm just tired of not stating my opinion and standing my ground, while everyone else outside of Christianity seems able to make theirs. And, like it or not, the facts are the facts. The United States of America was founded upon Christian principles, in order that everyone could be free to believe as they wished. (Statistics, by the way, show that approximately 92% of Americans are Christian.)

And honestly, what's so bad about the Christian way? Christ taught that all people should love one another. I see nothing at all wrong about that. If America is Christian--which, I assure you, it is--is that so very wrong? No. Not when you view it from an unbiased perspective.

Oh, and uh, I won't answer notes concerning the matter, either. Nope. Sorry. Not debating this point.

If you read this clear through, I commend you.
